Here I Go Agan - July 16,2015

So I keep promising myself to get back to where I belong and get serious about my health again. I do it for about a week and then once again let life get in my way. As I have said before this blog is one of the things that made me as successful as I was in the past so I am again going to try and use it to motivate me (and maybe some others if I succeed).

Today my 11 year old daughter went to stay with my 21 year old daughter and my little granddaughter for 5 weeks. They are 700 miles away. My significant other is now working nights. I will be alone every night after work. I am going to use this time to find myself again. I have been walking/jogging about two mornings a week but I am really going to step it up for the next month.

Tomorrow I will weigh and measure and have several different exercise ideas for the next month that I will be trying. My diet is pretty good except maybe too much beer on the weekends but my focus will now be protein, water, and movement.

February 4th, 2015 175.2

Down two pounds for the week so far. Not great but slow is better then to fast. Have really been doing good with my water consumption and diet. Not as much exercise as I would like but have a lot going on at home right now.

Found out today that Jay, my significant other, has high blood sugar and high cholesterol. Looks like changes need to be made for all of us. He has really struggled with his weight since I lost all mine. Hopefully this will inspire us both to do better.

Also did first day of 30 day plank challenge today. Only 20 seconds but man did that burn.

February 2, 2015 177.2 Pounds

Day One!!!!!!!!!

Weight 177.2 Pounds
Waist 36 Inches
Hips 43 Inches

Not really happy about being almost 180 pounds again but I know that I can do this. I have done it before and I have faith in myself.

Hit the gym for 60 minutes of Spinning today and kept my protein and water intake high and my carbs and calories low.

Also weighed in for a Biggest Loser competition at work today as a little extra motivation.

Had Jay take a picture of me last night in what used to be my favorite jeans. I quit wearing them about a year ago because they were getting too tight. Now I can not even button them. I will be posting weekly updates of my jeans pictures until I can wear them comfortably.

Also started a 30 day plank challenge today.

Already hearing from people who were not aware of my past weight troubles and enjoyed reading my blog. Every little comment keeps me motivated.

February 1st, 2014

So recently I was reevaluating my life. Okay really I was just reevaluating my fat. I have slowly been gaining weight and losing control of my eating habits again. I made excuse after excuse but in reality it does not matter why all that matters is getting back on track.

I realized that one of the things I was no longer doing was blogging and sharing the day to day struggles with others. Most of the people in my life now either didn't know me when I was fat or don't remember me that way. I had also started to forget how miserable, in pain, and sick I was everyday. I do not want to ever go back there. So here I am back on my blog. Sharing my journey.

Starting tomorrow I am joining a biggest loser competition at work. I am starting a 30 day fitness challenge with my other half. I am recommitting to eating right and exercise. I am blogging my successes and failures.

Goal is to be back in my favorite jeans by my 40th birthday on April 23rd. I will be taking progress photos and posting my weight and measurements at least once a week.

I once again hope to be an inspiration to others and to myself. No more self sabotaging. No more excuses. No more hiding from myself. 40 is gonna be the best year yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
